About Me

Deborah McConnell has been a part of the Natural Health and Healing Industry for over 35 years. Due to her own health issues, Deborah began her early career with education on vitamins, nutrition, juice fasting and health foods. In 1976, she managed and operated her own juice bar in Houston, Texas, where she prepared and served fresh juices and healthy meals to promote a wellness lifestyle.  

Deborah was first licensed to practice massage therapy in 1979 after completing a 1,000 hour course at the Santa Fe Academy of Natural Healing, in New Mexico.   Shortly thereafter, she married and devoted the next 20 years to her family. In December of 2000, Deborah reentered the massage profession after graduating from Florida Academy of Massage & Skin Care in Ft. Myers. Since then, she has continued her passion of the profession by participating in over 800 continuing education hours to expand her skills and training by learning Craniosacral Therapy, Craniosacral Pediatrics, Somato Emotional Release, and Bio-Aquatic Therapy from the Upledger Institute.  Deborah is also certified in Raindrop Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Reiki Master, Healing Touch Therapy, Aquatics Exercise Aerobics, Deep Emotional Release Bodywork, Arthrosagge and more.

Deborah has served as the assistant director of the Therapy Center at Hippocrates Health Institute in West Palm Beach and for the past 11 years owned a practice on Sanibel Island before moving to Maui in 2011. Now she continues to provide excellent massage therapy in Maui.

Deborah's love and respect for the profession of therapeutic massage is evident by her involvement and commitment to continue to provide the highest quality treatments that supports her clients healing path.
